As with other Mossberg shotguns, the safety selector is positioned around the tang, and it has to be pressed ahead to fire. There’s very little oversized in regards to the safety switch even though; it’s regular Mossberg.

That said, a 12-gauge shotgun remains an excellent option for home defense, as well as Mossberg 930 Thunder Ranch is an excellent illustration of why that’s the case.
